Life as an outcast

I woke to a tap on the window. As I got up, I couldn't help but think that my and my  live was over. 'WHAT DO I DO?' I thought. 'Stop drop & roll?' Without knowing what I was doing, I stopped, dropped & rolled. It worked fairly well, except I rolled right into the window where an unfamiliar cop stood. The next thing I knew I was on an unfamiliar hard floor. At first, I thought I had woken because the cold sweat & my aching body, but then I heard someone's voice above me.
"Wake up sleepyhead." said a hazy figure.  Faintly, I could make out dirty blond locks & curious brown eyes.  She looked like she was into sports.
"Silah!" I said. "I was wondering where you were! You're ok!" I attempted to sit up but but my wobbly, achy self couldn't do it without falling down again.  When Silah saw I wanted to get up she helped me to my feet.
"Edecesa, I never thought I'd see you again!"said Silah.
"Where's Jane?" I asked.
"Oh she didn't make it."
"Oh," I said stumped but as I lay curled up awake on the hard floor, trying to sleep, I thought I could feel her spirit. When I woke from my troubled sleep, I could tell something was strange. "Ahhh! Jane!" I saw a ghostly white figure sitting in front of me. Immediately I sat up, & then wished I hadn't because now I felt dizzy to add to the aches from the rough cop yesterday. "Jane! Your supposed to be dead!" I exclaimed." I know" said the ghost Jane. I thought she looked simple. Yes, simply beautiful. She had long silky silvery locks parted to her left, with deep, dark eyes, no freckles & a slightly upturned nose. Beaming, she came at me and attempted to hug me, but being a ghost, all she succeeded in doing is to make me more cold then I had ever been in my life. "Brrr!" "Sorry.""Hey, where's Silah?""Oh, um still recovering...from...shock. I turned to find Silah in a corner, shaking, pale & sweaty. Well I guess that's how Surisonets (people with pointy ears ) react to ghosts trying to hug them. "Hey, the guards are Surisonets, right?" "Ya," said Jane, unsure how to react. "Well, if you go through the bars,  you chased the guards, trip them next to the bars so they drop the keys in the cell, so we can get out." Jane's face lit up at the idea. "Really?" "Yeah." I said. ""Edecesa, you are truly the most wonderful person I have had the fortune to meet." "You like making people freeze up?" I asked. Jane nodded vigorously.
